Phan Rang – Thap Cham (commonly referred to as Phan Rang) Phan Rang City is a city in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. The name Phan Rang is a Vietnamese transliteration of the word Panduranga and is the name Thap Cham given to refer to the Po Klong Garai tower cluster located in the west of the city.

Located 35 km from Phan Rang city, Vinh Hy Bay, also known as Vinh Hy Lagoon, is a small bay located in Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. Located in the northeast of Ninh Thuan province, 42 km from Phan Rang – Thap Cham city, the bay has 3 sides of East – West – North surrounded by mountains, the southeast side is the mouth of the bay.

To the west is the top of Nui Chua, 1040 m high above sea level and Lo O stream flows all year round into the bay. There are many species of seafood living in the bay: grouper, red snapper, mackerel, tuna, lobster, crab, squid… All year round, in the bay, the sea is calm and boats are safe during storms.
